WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY TREATMENT?
With a CoolPeel™, while often unnecessary, we provide a specialty numbing cream before treatment. A full-face CoolPeel™ can take between 15-30 minutes.
After your CoolPeel™, your skin may be red and warm for a day or two. You can resume normal daily activities during this time. As your skin heals, it may feel dry and scaly, so it’s important to keep it hydrated.
For Tetra Pro, it depends on the desired depth of treatment. A combination of CoolPeel™ and Tetra Pro can be used in the same area of treatment.
Once CoolPeel™ or Tetra Pro is complete, the skin can be moisturized with Exosomes or PRP (the patient’s own platelet-rich-plasma), which is applied as a topical serum. At Volure Medspa, we encourage our patient’s to leave the PRP on as a serum-rich natural mask until the next day. The PRP calms the skin and begins to nourish the tissue with all the epidermal growth factors that are needed for ideal healing.
WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR COOLPEEL™ OR TETRA PRO?
You are a good candidate for CoolPeel™ laser treatment if you are looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun damage, minimize pores, and improve overall skin texture. If you have more laxity, extensive sun damage, pigmentation, or deeper scars and wrinkles, Tetra Pro has the capabilities to customize your treatment, including darker skin types.
CAN COOLPEEL™ OR TETRA PRO BE COMBINED WITH OTHER SKIN REJUVENATION TREATMENTS?
Both treatments can effectively and safely be combined with other rejuvenating treatments, such as Morpheus8™ Radiofrequency Microneedling. The CoolPeel™ and Morpheus8™ treatments complement each other and offer a layered approach when combined in the same setting or in separate sessions. Our experts will discuss these options with each patient, but if a patient has more significant signs of the aging process, rough skin, or acne scars, then this combined approach is often ideal. The CoolPeel™ will treat the upper layers of the skin and effect wrinkles, scars, pigment, and pores from the outer layers of the skin—i.e. the epidermis and the superficial dermis—while the Morpheus8™ RF microneedling can address the deeper dermal architectural skin support. The combined procedures provide a layered approach that is stacked and targeted to provide results, still with minimal downtime. The combined CoolPeel™ and Morpheus8™ can be safely administered as an in-office procedure under topical and injection numbing in combination with Pro-Nox (laughing gas) for patient comfort. This process is especially effective when the procedure is finished with topical application of one’s own serum, called platelet rich plasma (PRP) or Exosomes.The combination of these procedures has shown remarkable results for the treatment of more pronounced skin wrinkling and acne scars, while also producing skin tightening that is impressive for a non-surgical approach to skin rejuvenation.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY COOLPEEL™?
CoolPee™ patients typically notice improvements in skin texture and appearance within a few days of treatment and results continue to develop in subsequent weeks. For optimal results, we may recommend multiple CoolPeel™ treatments spaced about one month apart. Our CoolPeel™ patients are pleased to find that their skin is smoother, more refreshed, and glowing as a result.
